Local officials are confident they will receive about $900,000 in reimbursement for providing services to evacuees who sought refuge in Longview before and after hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
'We've had several meetings with FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Administration), and I have no doubts that we will be reimbursed,' said city Finance Director Linda Symank.
