ID theft possible threat for evacuees Five days after promising to pay its employees at a Dallas FEMA contract hurricane call center, several employees told News 8 they still haven't received checks or they received the wrong amount.
Last Friday, Dallas police were called to the company's office when a disturbance nearly broke out.

News 8 learned dozens of employees at the call center, run by Fujitsu and Cendera corporation, quit over the payroll situation.
This week, some 60 people who had been hired conditionally were let go, but not before some of them with criminal records had access to evacuees' personal information.

'Everyday we ask about our checks and they tell us, hold on, give us ten minutes, give us an hour and we continue asking,' said a Cendera employee.

One Cendera employee showed a handwritten time sheet she and other employees kept.
Her check was for more than $700, but by her calculations she was still owed $200 dollars.
The woman and a high ranking employee told News 8 payroll record keeping is done on paper and not computers. "
