Governments and registered aid organizations have so far pledged more than $1.5 billion to aid victims of the Dec. 26 earthquake and tsunami. In addition, the World Bank and the Asian Bank of Development have pledged more than $500 million, bringing the total for relief and reconstruction aid to more than $2 billion, according to the United Nations . A look at major government pledges, according to the United Nations and Associated Press bureau reports.

UNITED STATES $350 million.
NORWAY $183 million
FRANCE $103 million.
BRITAIN $95 million.
SWEDEN $75.5 million.
SPAIN $68 million.
CANADA $67 million.
DENMARK $66 million.
CHINA $64 million.
AUSTRALIA $47 million.
NETHERLANDS $32 million.
EUROPEAN COMMISSION $31 million.
GERMANY $30 million.
SWITZERLAND $23.5 million
UNITED ARAB EMIRATES $20 million.
