CW morse code decoder
CW morse code decoder: "A program to decode morse code (CW) via sound card to text. It can work as narrow-band sound DSP-filter also. No additional hardware required you need only receiver and computer (5x86-133 or better) with a sound card. Can integrate with AALog logger. It is a software morse decoder that really work!"
The key to "CW Get" is knowing how to balance the filters with the "Threshold". In really noisy circumstances like on 80 or 160 during a thuderstorm, you really have to learn how to use it with finese.
The spectrum readout helps me to see who the DX station in a pile up is receiving and who he is not. The other day one seemed to have his RIT on or something and if you tuned to his exact freq you got him.
The other thing I like is you can change the tone if you use it as audio cw and get into filters on the other side of the pile up because you can see what the pile up is doing better, not just hear it.
But it is allot of fun to see if it is copying correctly.:0)
